Art Auction organised by the Usher Gallery Trust, with a selection of original artworks and prints for sale, many by well-known local artists.
The Usher Gallery Trust are pleased to present an Art Auction on Saturday 14th October at The Collection.
The sale begins at 11.30am, with the works available to view on Friday 13th October between 10am and 4pm at The Collection and on the morning of the sale from 10am.
This is a great opportunity to buy an original artwork or print for your home or office at an affordable price. There will be a selection of original works and prints for sale, many by well-known local artists. The sale includes works by ceramicist Peter Moss, Lincolnshire artists Janice Glew, Peter Montgomery, Bruce Duncan and Norah Ranshaw, well-known artist Lydia Bauman, watercolourist Ken Lochhead and acclaimed wildlife artists Philip Rickman and Brian Rawling. There is a wide range of styles and techniques from abstract to landscape, from watercolour to encaustic art, something for every taste.
Professional auctioneer William Gregory, from Golding, Young and Mawer Auction House in Lincoln, will take charge of the sale itself, which promises to be an entertaining event.
All the works in the auction have been donated to the Trust by the artists and from local supporters. All monies raised will further the Trust's support of the Usher Gallery. The Usher Gallery Trust supports the Usher Gallery for the benefit of the public by supporting purchases of artworks for the collection and by giving financial support for exhibitions, research and education.
