Summer at the Usher- Cyanotype workshop

Want to make your own cyanotype? Discover how you can use the UV to make your own unique artwork to take home!

Join us in the Usher Gallery Garden to create your own in a workshop guided by learning and participation officer Rachel Olin.

Please note this workshop is £2 but there is no need to book, simply pay at reception on the day. 
 

What to expect:


This workshop is taking place in the Clore Learning room and Gardens at the Usher Gallery. The Clore learning room is accessible by the entrance of the Usher. To find the Clore learning room, enter the Usher gallery by the glass extension entrance and go to the main door on the left. There are ramps and wide doors to accommodate wheelchairs, and a disabled access toilet oppositive the Clore learning room door, behind the reception desk.


This session will run from 1pm - 4pm. You are welcome to take break or drop in and out of the session as you wish. 


In this event you will be invited to use go outside to create your cyanotype. You will also need to handle paper and small objects like flowers and leaves. 


Rachel will be at hand on the day to assist where required. The workshop may get noisy, to help you with this we have noise cancelling headphones and fidget toys available.
