---------------
9th august - 10:30am - 15:30pm
A one-day intensive drawing workshop that will explore the use of line in both our drawings and the installation of the model in space.
This one-day intensive workshop will be run by The New Drawing Club. Through drawing and print we will explore the body and its surroundings with the ambition to make observed, representative and abstracted works. Using different lighting we will explore how we can change the context increasing our opportunity to experiment with materials and techniques. The New Drawing Club is interested in exploring new, personal ways of recording the figure and expressing ideas of movement, life and physicality. This workshop will also see an opportunity for participants to access printmaking equipment with support from Kate Genever. Julie Moosburg will be the model throughout.
Artists will be able to explore various print techniques, including dry point, lino/wood and mono.
This course is open to all, artists who are new to life drawing and print are welcome.
The workshop costs £35, which includes all materials, and places are limited to 12 only.
