The Usher Gallery Trust are hosting their second open exhibition this Summer 2025, 'Art of the Now'. The exhibition showcases the breadth and variety of artists living and working in Lincolnshire.
The open call looked to celebrate the wide variety of Lincolnshire’s art scene by holding no age or experience barriers. The open call received over 900 pieces of artwork with the youngest artist being just 5 years old. The judges were looking for originality, creativity, quality and skill as they narrowed the selection to around 140 pieces from over 100 artists.
The works had to be completed within the last 3 years and cover a variety of mediums, from painting to sculpture and many more. On top of the opportunities to showcase their artwork, five cash prizes are up for grabs for the chosen works. Select works will also be on sale so you can support local artists and take the work home with you once the exhibition has finished.
The exhibition will open on the 20 July 2025 through to 19 October 2025. The Usher Gallery is open Thursday through Monday, 10am to 4pm.
