Transplantation: a sense of place and culture

A touring exhibition of contemporary narrative jewellery in the Courtyard Gallery at The Collection

Twelve national and international Artists were invited by curator Professor Norman Cherry to explore and articulate the notion of "transplantation".

This powerful, engaging and thought provoking exhibition comprises of contemporary narrative jewellery as an art form recording memory and experience and 'a sense of place and culture'.

The exhibition will feature works by the following artists:

Jivan Astfalck, Norman Cherry, Jack Cunningham, Laura Potter, Lin Cheung, Jo Pond, Anna Davern, Rosanne Bartley, Joung-Mee Do, Nick Bastin, Sheridan Kennedy and Bridie Lander.

'Transplantation' is a partnership project with the University of Lincoln and The National Centre for Craft and Design.

All the items in the exhibitions wil be on sale, commissions will also be available.

Artist talk- Professor Norman Cherry will give a short talk Friday 27th July 1.15pm.
