Stop Motion Animation for Beginners
Have you ever watched Wallace and Gromit and thought ‘I’d like to try that!’. This workshop is the perfect entry into stop motion animation for beginners. Engage in a crash course of puppet building and the basics of animation with local artist Poppy Brown.
In this event you will be invited to create a plasticine model and learn to animate your character using your phone camera and a recommended Stop motion app.
This workshop is aimed at ages 9 - 16. Parents are required to stay with children.
This may be challenging if you have difficulty with hand dexterity but our instructor Poppy will be there to lend a hand. The space may be noisy with other children and adults in the space, if you struggle with loud noises we have noise cancelling head phones and fidget toys available.
