#Sheepselfie exhibition

A collaboration between Usher Young Creatives and UoL's National Art & Design Saturday Club, with contributions from the people of Lincolnshire

#Sheepselfie exhibition presents the fantastic culmination of a collaborative art project between two local art groups aged between 14-18 years old: Usher Young Creatives and University of Lincoln’s National Art & Design Saturday Club.

Over a period of 2 weeks the two groups will be collaborating on this project in order to create a flock of sheep that will tour Lincoln City in search of public engagement and interaction. The results will lead to the #Sheepselfie exhibition that will take place at The Collection and Usher Gallery, Lincoln.

During the first week  of collaboration they will meet at the University of Lincoln, get their arty heads together and bring their sheep to life, using a special material that neither group has used before.
Next, on Saturday 21 March from 10.15-11.45am they will be touring their sheep around Lincoln at various locations including Lincoln Drill Hall, The Collection & Usher Gallery, Steep Hill (wish them good luck!), the Cathedral, Lincoln Performing Arts Centre and University of Lincoln. Here they will invite everyone in the vicinity to take a selfie with these majestic sheep characters and the photographs collected will later be displayed digitally at the #Sheepselfie exhibition at The Collection & Usher Gallery between Saturday 28 March and Sunday 12 April.

Look out for the group in Lincoln city centre on the morning of Saturday 21 March and we hope you are able to get involved!
