Sensing Lincolnshire

Sensing Lincolnshire is an exciting group exhibition of artists with multi-sensory impairments from the Sense groups based in Lincolnshire.

Sensing Lincolnshire showcases the work of artists with multi-sensory impairments from the Sense group for deafblind people from Louth, Spalding and Bourne.

The contributing artists working in photography, textiles, sculpture and glass have collaborated to capture their own tactile and multi-sensory responses to their experience of Lincolnshire.

Accessing arts and cultural experiences can be a real challenge for many deafblind people. So deafblind artists work in incredible ways – constantly challenging forms for making art, and presenting it to audiences.

The exhibition is intended to be hands-on, offering a unique insight and invitation to audiences to experience the artwork and engage with the multi-sensory impaired community in Lincolnshire.
