A free day-long workshop with artist Anthony Luvera exploring collaborative and socially engaged approaches to photography.

Join artist and photographer Anthony Luvera for a free, day-long workshop at the Usher Gallery in Lincoln exploring collaborative and socially engaged approaches to photography. Drawing on Anthony’s own practice, the day will introduce some of the ideas behind working collaboratively and consider what a more equitable relationship between photographer and participant can look like.
Through discussion, practical collaborative exercises and project planning, the workshop will explore how these ideas can work in practice — from developing a project and working with participants to thinking about authorship, representation and outcomes. The workshop is free and open to photographers interested in expanding their knowledge of collaborative and socially engaged ways of working.
