Exhibition of Arts & Crafts From The Young People of Lincolnshire Secure Unit

The work exhibited is provided by young people resident at Lincolnshire Secure Unit, which caters for both boys and girls from the age of 10 to beyond their 18th birthday. Their aim is to enhance the personal self-esteem of, and for, each child by the creation and maintenance of a living environment. This maximises safe opportunities to learn, develop, make sense of previous experiences and to realise an appropriate degree of self-determination.It embraces a diverse range of skills from photography, art and craft, refurbishing and repair of lawnmowers and cycles. As well as jewellery and written work. To achieve this level of work the young people have learned to develop new skills and are very proud that their efforts will be on show during the course of this exhibition.
