Lincolnshire Artists’ Society Anniversary Exhibition
Artworks to be displayed from across the county
Opening Times: 10am-3:45pm
The Lincolnshire Artists' Society will be celebrating its 110th anniversary this year with an exhibition that looks to honour past and present members, as well as the work of the society over the past century. One of the main attraction at the event is the '10 Year Wall', which celebrates the work of prominent artists who have exhibited with the Society over the last ten years. This will include work by David Paton, a previous Chairman of the Society who recently passed away. Other artists featured will include: Max Marschner, Jacky Lee, Ken Lee and David Hollinshead.
As well as the exhibition itself, the society will be celebrating the publication of a second book about the past 10 years of work by the Lincolnshire Artists' Society. The book was written by local author Edward Mayor, and goes on sale the day of the opening. The exhibition will feature a number of artworks created by past and current members, with awards being presented to some of the works by the society itself throughout the exhibition.
