This display of ceramic vessels from the museum's collections demonstrates the artistic ability of the ancient Greek potters at a time when Greek civilisation was the most advanced in Europe.  It examines the uses for various forms of Greek vessels, the techniques used in their manufacture and the decorative motifs applied to them
