Illustration Adventures: Creative Characters with Artist Mel Langton
Do you love drawing your own characters, or could you be a budding comic book artist? Then this ‘Illustration Adventures’ workshop is just for you!
Join designer and illustrator Mel Langton as she guides you through fun activities to help you build your own colourful characters and develop simple story ideas.
This workshop is completely free, simply drop in on the day.
Friday 21 August 2026, 12:30-3:30, FREE, DROP IN
*Please note* - This workshop is popular so there may be a short wait to take part. We recommend letting our staff know that you'd like to take part, then exploring the gallery while you wait for a space to become free.
This may be challenging if you have difficulty with hand dexterity, but Mel will be on hand on the day to assist where required. The workshop will have spaces for up to 15 people at a time so it may be noisy, to help you with this we have noise cancelling headphones and fidget toys available.
Here at Lincoln Museum and Usher Gallery, we welcome all participants; if you still aren’t sure whether this workshop is accessible for you or someone you care for, please email us at ushergallery@lincolnshire.gov.uk and we can discuss your access requirements
