Bassist Alison Rayner leads her beautifully integrated band playing world fusion music that is full toned and melodic performed by musicians who have worked together for some time. Bright and eloquent saxophones from Diane McLoughlin, with wild piano and guitar interplay between Steve Lodder and Deidre Cartwright. They recently gave a stand-out performance at the Scarborough Jazz Festival.

Alison and Deidre’s record lable ‘Blow the Fuse’ runs a project entitled ‘Tomorrow the Moon’ encouraging young and emerging jazz musicians by offering them the opportunity to share a live performance experience. As a result there will be a short set from pupils of Kings School, Grantham following mentoring from Andrew Wood and Thom Whitworth.
