Walk the Line
This exhibition takes its starting point from the 800th anniversary of the Charter of the Forest; the laws of which allowed all men new rights to enter the royal forests.
We have taken this as an opportunity to look at artists who have taken the act of walking the land as a subject, topic and material to create art works. Artists include Hamish Fulton, Rachael Clewlow and newly commissioned works by Ellen Brady and Matthew Chesney who were part of OPEM4.
At The Usher Gallery, opening 4th November 2017 until 14th January 2018
