A Fresh Perspective: Exploring narrative

The exhibition, from January to March 2025, engaged secondary school students in exploring storytelling through narrative and composition techniques. Participating schools completed lessons on selected artworks and visited the gallery to create a collaborative piece for the adjoining space, using techniques like stencil screen printing and collage. The artworks on displayed included "The Prodigal Daughter" by John Maler Collier, "The Poacher's Daughter" by Stuart Archibald James Wortley, and "Widow's Mite" by Robert Fowler. The adjoining gallery served as a workshop space for school responses and allowed visitors to engage with activities and provide feedback throughout the project.
