10.30am-3pm

What to expect:

This workshop is taking place in the orientation hall and education suite at Lincoln Museum.

Examples of the crafts available to make will be displayed in the orientation hall and learning team staff will be on hand to help. If you want to make any of the crafts you will need to buy a wristband at reception. Once you have a wristband you can make as many crafts as you want.

This session will run from 10:30am until 3pm. You can arrive any time within this window and stay for as long as you want.  You can leave and come back if you want to.

The craft activities will use a mixture of materials and tools such as card, paper, poster paints, beads, elastic thread, modelling putty, wooden model kits, scissors, glue sticks, and felt tips.  There are sinks available to wash your hands.

The activities take place around tables with small stools to sit on.

This session is beginner level and is appropriate for all ages, with support from an adult.

You may find this workshop tricky if you have difficulties with Fine Motor skills (for example, using scissors). This workshop is family friendly and the space may be noisy, if you have difficulty with loud noises, we have noise cancelling head phones and fidget toys available. Our event days can become busy so if you would like a quieter space to work please let us know.

Here at Lincoln Museum and Usher Gallery, we welcome all participants; if you still aren’t sure whether this workshop is accessible for you or someone you care for, please email us at investigate-learning@lincolnshire.gov.uk and we can discuss your access requirements.
